Here's how you can help. We are currently looking for a Temporary Volunteer Coordinator to join our team and rise to the challenge of empowering service. 

Position Highlights: 

This position will support a ‘volunteer days’ partnership as a member of the core planning team. The core team is responsible for securing service projects for our corporate partner, communicating extensively with Lion and partner leads on project coordination, and ensuring event execution is seamless. Other duties include but are not limited to registration data extraction and analysis, ensuring service project logistics are thoroughly defined and on schedule and managing post-event reporting compliance. 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Serve as a project coordinator and communication lead for assigned geographic areas: support partner site captains and Lion hosts, ensure post-project reports are complete. 

  • Event management: Coordinate operational logistics with Lions, partner site captains, or host venue to assess project capacity, duration, project preparation, and on-site event flow 

  • Ensure volunteer opportunities are aligned with partnership goals and provide a meaningful and engaging experience for volunteers.  

  • Extract, compile, and manipulate quantitative data from registration system and past projects for registration updates, partnership reports, presentations, and grant maintenance. 

  • Update project resources such as event calendars, registration websites, and project spreadsheets. 

  • Participate in weekly project updates via conference calls with internal team and corporate partner. 

We’re Looking for Someone With: 

  • Minimum of high school diploma required or equivalent. 

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in volunteer coordination or event management. 

  • Enjoys collaborative work and talking to partnership stakeholders on a daily basis. 

  • Strong relationship building skills, phone etiquette, and ability to correspond professionally via email. 

  • The ability to anticipate needs of partners and work with a sense of urgency.  

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; prior experience with online volunteer engagement platforms is helpful. 

Availability required for the assignment from June 1st, 2026, to November 13th, 2026, 

Compensation range for this role is expected between $22-25 per hour.
